It's the last month of the year, and boy has this year flown by! Winter is already here and soon I'll be back in Mumbai for my break. I'm so excited, I can't even handle it!
Living and studying in the UK has changed my life in many ways. Not only am I independent, but I'm so much more responsible. I think that happens automatically when you have to do everything on your own, right from cleaning your room and bathroom, to doing the laundry, and the dishes too! But apart from this, my style has also evolved so much since I've come here.
Because winter in Mumbai can't exactly be called winter (it's 28 degrees there!), we usually just wear what we like. I'd wear a crop top or shorts even in January and it wouldn't even bother me much. But here, it's so different. December has only just begun and there are times when I feel like I'm going to get frostbite!
In such weather, most people tend to wear layers of neutral and dull colours. I do that too, but I cannot help myself from going back to a bright colour every once in a while. And magenta being my favourite, I decided to shoot this look for you guys to show you how I incorporated a bright colour in my look. It may not be for everyone, even I was skeptical in the start, but I decided to go with it anyway. Since my tights were bright enough, I kept the rest in shades of black, white and grey and balanced the colour with a holographic sling in the end.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post. My next one's going to be my favourite lipsticks and nail paints this season! Until next time xx
