Veet Hair Removal Cream for Sensitive Skin

I've always struggled with hair removal, especially since waxing was never an option for me. That was mainly because I have a very low pain threshold. Another reason I've never opted for waxing or any kind of hair removal that involves plucking my hair out is because my skin is very sensitive and is prone to eruptions post such methods.

Years ago, before I switched to using the razor for my survival, I used to use Veet's hair removal cream for sensitive skin. It always worked well for me, but somehow I just gradually stopped using it, and I cannot remember why.

I was recently given a few Veet products, and thought I'll try the same cream again, and not much has changed, apart from the scent I think. It used to bother me before, but now the cream smells so good, and doesn't bother me at all!

I'm sharing the cream with you today because I receive a lot of emails regarding hair removal, and many of you girls have the same skin issue as I do. I'm hoping this will help some of you, as I can safely say that Veet has never harmed my skin or darkened it. A pro that Veet would have over shaving is that it won't dry up your skin and you won't be prone to razor bumps. It is also quite inexpensive and if you are like me and cannot bear the pain of waxing or epilating, this is an amazing option!

The only downside to a hair removal cream, which one faces with shaving as well, is that the regrowth takes place much quicker than what you would expect in case of waxing/epilating. Do you use hair removal cream or have been considering trying it? I'd love to know!

  1. Hey Aashna ! I really think that my skin (especially underarms) have turned dark using such hair removal creams! So I had stopped using them! For me, it is a no-no! I go for waxing, and if it's urgent I don't mind using a razor ( though i always end up with cuts on my skin ) !

    1. You could try out lazer treatment if possible ! Could be expensive but its totally worth it :)
It helps in reducing the hair growth after 6 sittings.

  2. I always opted for waxing over hair removal creams during school but college changed everything , I hardly get time to go for waxing every two weeks. I've been shaving since a hat year now and it's really easy and convenient too but I've switched to epilators now they're a life saviour ❤️
Do give them a try, it does pain initially but then you get used to it 😊

  3. Hi Aashna! I have used veet but it turns the skin darker! I prefer waxing over this cream. Also, you have been using razor right? Does it make your skin dark?

  4. Yep, it does Darken the skin. Ruined my underarms so I have now opted for waxing. Was very disappointed though.

  7. As one can see, the benefits regarding the use of epilators are clear. They are effective, inexpensive and convenient. The reason behind the recent trend of epilators is evident; they lighten one's wallet and leave skin silky smooth for a long period of time. braun 2 in 1 face epilator

  8. As far as I know this kind of creams make dark on your skin . Hair removal is a big problem and we have many alternatives . Waxing is a painfull process and also it gives harm to body . Shaving is easy way but unwanted hair grows fast and strongly . I think the best solution is epilator . ıt is easy and skin can stay smooth longer . I have Braun SE7681 Silk Epil 7 Epilator . It has great functıons and very useful .
