I'm in a spectacular mood today, I think mainly because I've been working since 8 am and I've got so much done! You know that feeling of content? When you've got a huge to-do list to take care of, and you're actually going through it at the speed of light? That's exactly what I feel right now.
Anyway, this post is clearly not about how happy I am right now, but involves a lot of happy colours and prints that I'm so excited to share with you! I'm sure you're well versed with the brand Chumbak that's eminent for it's super fun and quirky collection. So Chumbak recently took their first step into the fashion world with Collection One, with a huge range of clothing, right from basic tees to printed dresses, for both men and women. If you know anything about me, you'll know how much I love bright prints, and Chumbak's collection is absolutely ideal for someone like me.
Their pieces will clearly uplift your mood, because they've played to the aesthetics of what Chumbak is all about, while evolving their design at the same time. As part of PopXO's blog network, I wanted to show you guys 3 varied looks, but I honestly couldn't make a choice. So once you're done taking a look at all 3 outfits, head over to see their new collection here, and I'm sure you'll know exactly what I was talking about.
P.S. I've also sneaked in a his and hers look with one of the tees from their men's collection, so scroll down for more!
Dress - Chumbak; Shoes - Primark; Necklace - Delia; Sunglasses - Forever21; Watch - Aldo
on my lips - Mac Mehr
I knew I wanted to do one look around one of Chumbak's shift dresses, because I know how versatile they are, and can easily be worn to various occasions. I had almost chosen the 'Bustle' one, because the print was so cute, but then I spotted this dress with a nautical theme. Given my partiality towards all things nautical, I don't think I need to explain my choice anymore, do I?
The 'Sail Away' dress has the cutest underwater themed print, without making it too in-your-face. If you're not very experimental with bold prints, this one's for you. I added some pink accents to the look, and a transparent strap watch for a little edge.
On Siddhanth - Tee - Chumbak; Shorts - Billabong
On me - Sweater - Chumbak; Jeans - Fashion Nova; Shoes - Forever21; Sunglasses - Colaba
on my lips - Mac Pink Pigeon
Since Chumbak's men's range was also pretty impressive, I got Siddhanth to wear their Mystic Midnight tee while I wore a bright yellow sweater with the cutest print on the sleeves. With rockets on the sleeves, this sweater was unlike something I'd worn on the blog before, and it made for a perfect casual outfit when paired with my ripped denims. Siddhanth teamed his tee with a pair of comfy bottoms, that played perfectly to the casual vibe.
Tee, skirt - Chumbak; Shoes - Makemechic, Bag - asos; Sunglasses - Upbeatzindia
on my lips - Charlotte Tilbury Sexy Sienna
Now this is undoubtedly my favourite. Mainly because I LOVE pleated midi skirts, and this one is nautical themed as well! I'd normally have paired the skirt with a bright coloured crop top, but I wanted to opt for a more casual vibe for this one, so I paired it with a blush tee and added hints of blue with my sunglasses and bag. I then added some print clash with the heels, and I was good to go!
Which one of these looks was your favourite?
