I somehow feel like I don't emphasise this enough, but jewellery forms a very crucial part of an ensemble. It can be the deciding factor to see whether a look works or not. When buying gold or diamond jewellery, I often tend to get drawn to pieces that would work for a traditional occasion while also being completely apt for an affair that would require a slightly modern attire.
Coming to that, it isn't very often that you come around a collection of jewellery that involves that perfect fusion of being ethnic and modern all in one. Known for it's gorgeous designs and excellent workmanship in diamond jewellery, Zoya has various collections with a very intriguing theme to each one. Today I'm sporting a few pieces from their Fire collection, which involves an intricate blend of gold and diamonds, to create pieces that are spot on transitional and can certainly be dressed up or down in accordance to the occasion.
I decided to go slightly modern in this stunning Nikhil Thampi dress that I'd first spotted on Deepika Padukone a while back. It has that classic vibe while being exuberant at the same time, and was exactly what I was looking for to pair with the jewellery. You can take a closer look at the jewellery in the pictures below.
